    OH. MY. GOD.
What incredible pictures. You must have had an amazing time!
I am jealous in 12 different ways.
But I’m with Maria, I could never get used to the “Lipthy Thpanish.” =D

I had similar “epiphanic” moments as we traveled around Europe. As for your daughter, she’ll definitely want to travel. I wrote a post a while back in which I reflected that the mere fact that I heard my paretns’ stories of their travels in Europe from the time I was born (they lived in France 3 years then returned to Brazil) motivated me to want to move to another country and travel.

And those photos… WOW. I just ADORE wild poppies, ADORE!! And wheat fields… and olives (yum!), and old buildings, OMG!! And those meregues! (we call them suspiros [sighs] in Portuguese, isn’t that interesting?) , and the gorgeous Mediterranean… and GAUDÍ!! My husband and I adore Gaudí’s works (too bad we were in Barcelona for less than 24 on our whilrwind tour of Europe). Ooh, did you buy those espadrilles for Maria and yourself?
Ha, and we have the same squeeze tube for condensed milk in Brazil :) (I’ve found in NJ a plastic container that squeezes out like the mayo Hellmans plastic container, but maybe they don’t have those there in the boonies ;)

    Thanks for sharing!!
