Have you read Mediopollito? That book is so loved around here that every single page is held together with tape. It’s by Alma Flor Ada, who I love. Another favorite is El loro Tico Tango.

My boys love children’s poetry in Spanish and our two favorite collections are Poemas de sol y son and Si ves un monte de espuma y otros poemas. They’re both on Amazon and they’re a lot of fun.

I’ve been meaning to blog about our favorite books for a while now–this might inspire me to do it. I’m always looking for good recommendations as well! “Abuela” sounds great, and I got a couple of ideas from your Amazon store. Thanks!

Keen, thank you for the suggestions. I have seen El Loro at a friend’s house. It’s been on our list for a long time. Will make a point to look these up. Gracias.

Penny recommends DAVID SE METE EN LIOS, highly:)
We also like PERROS,PERROS, DOGS, DOGS, but that one may be too young for Maria now.
