My favorite spanish word is “mijo”, because I learned it while my son was playing soccer with his hispanic friends. Even now that he is all grown up, the softness and tenderness of that word sticks with me.

MY favorite spanish phrase is “Que sera, sera.” We sing it in the rocking chair every night and both my anglo babies we’re requesting it with “sera please” at 18 months.
