Mamacita, ¿Dónde Está Santa Claus? and other Latino Holiday music
The casa is muy loud these days. My parents and the pastelitos are here. That’s good, but it also means the decible level has peaked.
My mother brought her Rat Pack Christmas CD. To compete for airtime with Mami’s old men, I put together an IMix of holiday music that won’t make me want to stick palitroques in my ears.
Any other suggestions?

Love that mix~! And the Juanes especially – caliente!

OMG! I love palitroques and I haven’t heard that word in ages. Have a great holiday with your family =)
Ok had to comment again b/c I just started listening to the Juanes song and I got a little teary eyed cause I haven’t heard that one in awhile…I’m sure pregnancy hormones have something to do with it but still….
Aside from what you have, we also have “Triste Diciembre” by Rodolfo y los Hispanos, y “Sabor Navideno” by Afrosound. I’ve been dancing around to both of these especially doing my holiday cooking.

It’s not a New Year’s Eve party until you play “El año viejo” (by La Integración) over…and over…and over again in the half hour leading up to midnight.
¡Feliz Año!
*laughing*
I feel you.
It’s amazing how loud my little house gets when the familia comes over!
