Spring — la Primavera — arrives in the Boonies
“Dorothy” and I spent a warm and breezy Sunday afternoon at a friend’s house. The girls jumped on the trampoline, played dress-up, picked flowers, and explored the sweet and lazy creek that slides slowly past our friend’s country home.
As I sat on the big rocks next to the creek, I closed my eyes and felt the sunshine on my face. Only a hammock and a tall drink would have made the moment more perfect.
It is on these vividly green spring days, when my tender-footed daughter learns to walk barefoot on rocks and hunt for frog eggs, that I give the most thanks for this beautiful and peaceful place we call home.

Sometimes it pays to live in the boonies! Lovely Dorothy!
Que bella esta mi niña!
Although I don’t know if I could live in the South, Tennessee has always been my favorite Southern state.
It is beautiful landscape indeed!
