Peace Boonie-style
down the hill
It has been raining here since Thursday.
Buckets, Torrents, End of Days-kind-of-rain.
But, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Good for the earth, good for napping and good for lazy Sunday walks in your own backyard.
Allow me to share some of my Zen with you, some of why despite the fact I horribly miss the ocean, I love the spot of Tennessee land on which my life is carried out.
May my patch of Boonie woods offer you a little bit of breathing space on this back-to-work Monday.
Paz y amor.

Your wild place is beautiful.
Qué envidia, Carrie!! Acá también ha estado lloviendo mucho, but I love it, todo está verde!!!
I’ve been meaning to write forever… It was really cool meeting you and all your friends. I hope we can do it again one day!
Un abrazo!!!
Lovely pics. How GREEN is Tennessee???
Wow! Unbelievable! I love your first picture, I want to have that little piece of peace close to me too!!
Lovely pictures…I gotta take pictures of GA. However nothing beats South Florida’s beaches…y patelitos de queso.
I thought tortuga was for the big sea turtles, or caguama…and hicotea was for the little bitties. Either way, cute cute cute!
and that is why I love my little piece of land. What a conflict. To be near family and friends or to raise my beautiful kids in a place such as this. The latter wins.
Saludos.
