Yep, Jim missed a number of things, but perhaps he will address them in a future trip. Go take your chapuson, I do not criticize you, as for me I will wait.

Wow… amazing post. That’s exactly what I felt when I went to Cuba. Everytime I go, (I’ve been 4 times) I have so much to think about. I went to places my father grew up in, all the stories that he had told me growing up suddenly had a visual attached. I will definately be taking my family.

    Once again, great post.
    “Te la comistes.” LOL

You touch my heart too. We will all go and take “a chapuson” in that beautiful water. That’s the same picture I have in my office. I look at it 5 days a week and always tell my self. “One day I will be there, 52 years is a long time”.

Ah, mi gente…one day, let’s gather at my Bohio in Guardalavaca, roast a pig and raise a glass to possibilities and peace…
And, Catherine…I love “te la comistes!” I need to put that on a tee.

Cuba is amazing. I’ve gone several times as my husband is Cuban and his parents and siblings still reside there. On our last visit, my 3 year old daughter joined us and loved every minute of her stay. We make sure she feels connected to her roots and I must say, everything about her from the way she talks to the way she moves is Cuban! I’m yearning to go back!! hope you can too=)
