Today:
"Mami, I really, really want to go to Cuba."
"One day, Maria.''
"No, now. I really want to go.''
"Maria, it is not too easy to travel to Cuba. We need permission.''
"But, I've already been there hundreds of times.''
"Maria, do you mean Miami?"
"Yes, Miami. I really want to go there. I want to play on the beach.''
"Me too, Mama. Me too.''

Me too, Mama. Me too. =D
LOL! I love this ;)
That's too funny. I can see how she got them confused. By the way, if she does ever visit Cuba, she'll love it. We took our daughter last year (she was 2) and it was love at first sight for her. She left speaking like a true Cubanita. Ha! Hopefully, one day your daughter will have that opportunity.
Anon, I would so love to take Maria to Cuba. With my luck though, we'll be there right in the middle of Revolution...Marta y Carla, gracias!
