Looking for all the Latina bloggers.
I spent a very nice and educational couple of days at the Blissdom blog conference here in Nashville. Me, and about 250 women from around the country. Mostly mom bloggers and some rock star mom bloggers like this lady and this lady. I’ll soon have a whole list of others for you and details about some cool stuff I learned, but the burning issue today is this:
Where were the Latinas?
I met one. She is lovely and expecting her first baby. I think I am going to love her forever. Go read her new blog.
Of course, there may have been other Latinas there. It’s not like my pasty skin and Scotch-Irish last names scream “Cuban-American!!!!” So, somebody could have been hiding in plain site. But, my new amiga and I did make the effort to find others. Nada. (There were two Latino men there, by the way: These two young machos who drove the Mommy Bloggers totally locas during a performance and appearance. Caliente!)
Anyway, I have been meaning to post a round-up of Latina blogs I’ve recently discovered, both from surfing and through comments here, but I’m going to let you guys start the link list. You may know more than I…
Latinas show your faces.
Seria un placer conocerlas.
