This is perfect! Yesterday afternoon, Brandon came home from school singing “Habia Una Vez”, and I couldn’t remember the end of the song when I started singing with him.
What a wonderful idea. Thank you to your reader. =)

“Duemete me nina…” is Penny’s nightly lullaby since birth. Works like a charm.

A funny sidenote: my mother in law sings to Penny the multiplication tables to the same tune! “Dos por dos es cuatro, dos por tres es seis, dos por cuatro ocho, por dos es diez y seis.” Weird, huh?

Wow!!!This is great. I gonna save the Vinagrito video for Nicolas…You know what? My Mom, who came from Cuba for his birth, arrived in Colorado packed up with CD’s with all those songs and several books in Spanish…and, believe or not, “Duermete mi niño, duermete mi amor”… have been his sleeping lullaby since he was born…then I add my own story with the same ryhtm when the process goes too long.

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I have been looking for Habia una vez for years, my mother used to sing it for me. When I read the lyrics I tarted crying.

    Thank you so much!!!
